BEWARE and be very, very careful if you are a patient of Dr. Iyer. During my treatment, he only accepted "better or worse" answers, was not open for discussion about my medication doses, and told me he did not like patients like me because I was difficult to treat. It seemed as though he seriously disliked any personal input from me! I found another Dr. and have been doing very well since I got away from Dr. Iyer. BEWARE.
Worst psychiatrist ever! Should have paid attention to other reviews. Asked insulting questions, wasn't interested in my background & problems with anxiety. Moved from another state & had trouble finding doctors accepting new patients. Luckily found another doctor.
I just started to see Dr. Iyer a few months ago. I must say I am very happy with the treatment plan he has put me on and I feel better than I have in many years. I would definitely recommend him to anyone suffering from anxiety and depression.

I have been seeing Dr. Iyer since March 2015 and today due to me moving was my final appointment. I will be honest and say that I was nervous of going and seeing him having seen some of his reviews. However, over the 15 months that I have been to see him words like very competent, compassionate, excellent patient attitude, interested in his patients life all come to my mind when I thing of Dr Iyer. Compared to some doctor's he is a gentleman!
All he does is push pills. He doesn't offer help to anyone. Pills aren't the answer. I've been to him three times and I bet I haven't spent 10 minutes talking to him. I work in law enforcement. I've been exhibiting symptoms of PTSD for a few years now and finally had to seek medical attention after a major episode. He informed me that I should just quit my job. Quitting my job isn't going to help the fact I re live the moments that haunt me. This doctor is a quack Don't waste your money.
