Last year around August/ September they told my grandma she could wait to have another appointment after they told her they were concerned with her heart (she had heart failure) but obviously it could wait till October, right? Well she passed a day after her birthday on September 15th because of a heart attack. Then they wanna email and bill her for her appointment she never came to BECAUSE she passed.
I do not think I’ll ever fully be able to express how much your care has meant to me. Living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and its comorbidities can feel overwhelming and isolating, but your knowledge, treatment, and compassion changed that for me. Because of your care, I get to live a more normal life—and that means everything to me. Thank you for not giving up and for making such a difference in my life. You will always be the Dysautonomia physician of the year to me!
I’ve been seeing Dr. Patel for 3 years now. My experience as his patient has been excellent. I drive 2.5 hours bc there is no one else who better understands the complications that go along with Dysautonomia & EDS. I don’t understand the negative reviews here.Yes, wait times are sometimes long. I was notified ahead of time that is a possibility, but that’s because he actually spends time with his patients.I’d rather wait an hour or two for a great doctor vs 15 minutes for a healthcare puppet.
