Not a good visit. He bragged the whole time how he takes care of Tom Brady, how many Super Bowls he's been to and how Tom invited him to the unveiling of his statue in Foxboro. I get it, I'm a fan of Tom too, but as Bill Belichick used to say, "Do your job!" 3 seconds of seeing me and looking at a colonoscopy. I'm automatically diagnosed. No exam , didn't want to hear want to hear what I had to say, nothing. Waste of time and money!
Rude, dismissive, doesnt listen to what patient is saying and is more interested in his own narrative rather than what YOU are experiencing. Waste of time, waste of money, i could've just gone to work.. Cannot recommend you avoid him enough. Its truly a shame because all of the nurses are exepctionally receptive and listen intently, while Dr Rau would say "no no no" to a symptom i was LITERALLY experiencing.
Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Dr. Rau did’t give me the feeling that he had my best interest at heart. My second and final visit with him was post colonoscopy. I have and continue to have the symptoms that prompted me to make the appointment with Dr. Rau. It’s been roughly 4 months since my symptoms started.
