Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. Dr. Rau did’t give me the feeling that he had my best interest at heart. My second and final visit with him was post colonoscopy. I am grateful to say that Dr. Rau is my gastro doctor. I was diagnosed with microscopic colitis and have been following a regimen for years. Dr. Rau put me on a medicine and does blood testing every 3 months to monitor my situation and now I am in remission. I've never had a doctor as pleasant, intelligent, and kind all at the same time. He will thoroughly explain your situation in a simple and delicate manner so that you can understand. He truly is the best you could find. Dr RAU has been my gastroenterologist for 20 years plus. He has been through everything with me, and he saved my life on an appointment in 2019 I said I felt great except for a pain in my upper right side of my back, he could have easily said I probably lifted something heavy. Instead he sent me for an mri and ultrasound and they found early stage liver cancer, which is rare to catch it early. He literally saved my life.
