i think hes great every time i had a problem he HE was always there i have been to a few different clinics around here and by far he is the best he goes more and beyond to correct your problem leaves no stone unturned the only thing is its hard for him to be punctual he is very busy but hes great
SAME DOCTOR AS BELOW! DONT BE FOOLED! If you are using workers' compensation, don't use this doctor. He sent me back to work with a ruptured cervical disk because I wanted a second opinion before surgery. He is in the insurance companies back pocket. He should be glad I didnt sue him. A BIG ZERO! Consider yourself fortunate if you have found your way to Dr. Patel. He was initally my son's physician (he has congenital scoliosis) and later did a neck fusion on my husband. My husband is a detail and precision freak...so is Dr. Patel (a match made in heaven and just what you want in a spinal surgeon). Needless to say, my husbands surgery was perfect and 10 years later he has had no problems whatsoever. Dr. Patel was an absolute dear when my husband had complicated neck surgery. He answered all of our questions and concerns, and spent time with us pre/post surgery. He is not just a good bone "mechanic" but he also knows his medicine. My husband, a physician specialist and I, a practicing RN, highly recommend this excellent spinal surgeon.
A supposed spine specialist, he basically strolled in did not even examine or listen to what was going on w/a complex orthopedic hx including many fractures & disease. Then he just writes the name of a book down for spine & basically says that I ought to self help. I was pleased w/the office, the staff was nice but he is a jerk & has zero ability to emphathize or relate to the patient.
