He assisted in my wife’s cancer surgery, performed her gall bladder surgery, and did my hernia surgery.
My husband visited Dr. Crudup last week for the first time. He was referred by our primary physician for an outpatient surgery procedure. We were both very impressed by Dr. Crudup. I was recommended to Dr. Crudup for hernia surgery by my primary physician in whom I have great confidence. That confidence is now extended to her recommendations! Dr. Crudup is very professional and thorough. On my two office visits I did not have to wait more than five minutes, and his office staff, especially Patty, was very personable and courteous. I would not recommend Dr Crudup for surgery. I had a hiatal hernia and a redo of a previous Fundoplication in March of 2016. I have had so many post of complications. He made the Fundoplication too much tight and did Vagal nerve damage. I have no eosophogeal motility now. This causes severe swallowing problems. I still wake up at night with stomach pain and wretching. I am injured permanently. I have to have frequent EGD's to dilate and put Botox in the entrance and exit of my stomach. Beware!!!
I was scheduled for a gallbladder surgery with another surgeon, but my gallbladder jumped the gun and I could not wait the few days until my scheduled appointment. I presented at the Emergency Department and was fortunate that Dr. Crider was on call. He is an exceptional surgeon with a great bedside manner as well as a great sense of humor (which I appreciate), and I would recommend him to anyone. He took wonderful care of me and I had a successful surgery and an uneventful recovery. He's great!
