I met Dr. Permar when my husband suffered a major cerebral hemorrhage. He and the whole team at YMC Prescott were wonderful. Not only in their medical duties but with the compassion they showed my husband and myself. So refreshing to know there are Dr's that are not only excellent but have compassion in our area.
I saw Dr. Permar at the ER in Precott Valley on 12-7-24. He listened to what I had to say, treated me promptly and appropriately. He explained everything he was doing and why. Pleasant, caring bedside manner. I have COPD and had the beginnings of pneumonia, he prescribed an inhaler that I have never heard of or used. It not only made breathing easier, I was able to cough up sputum that has been lurking in my chest for months. Would love to have him as my PCP.
I went into YRMC ER in Prescott with a deep laceration on my index finger. His bedside manor was excellent and he was very compassionate and caring. Instead of suturing it up, I suggested adhesive glue, which he was very willing to do. He made a trip to the ER a pleasant experience.
Dr Trale listened and then acted on the condition I was describing. Very thorough in testing and seeking answers. When he was not able to come up with a clear answer, he was honest, while also offering a plan for me to try. I have seen plenty of ER doctors, but Dr Trale was one of the most professional and caring I've ever seen. Awesome doctor!!
