Was seeing doctor bellevance for the birth of my first child. Ended up having him thanksgiving weekend. Had no idea I wouldn’t get my doctor.. never explained to me she would be out of the state. I didn’t have a great time in the hospital and was very scary. She never followed up or called or anything. Went to 6 week check up and days “I hear you had a bad time”. I had a visit with Dr Bellavance concerning my extreme period pain, I felt brushed me off as she explained this was normal for women, didn't get me an ultrasound and put me on birth control. I explained my concerns if I had endo or cysts, but she said it was unlikely. Flash forward to November of 2022, and my new doctor said that my stage IV endometriosis was the worst she's ever seen in someone my age. I like Dr Bellavance for many reasons.For one she listens.I like her bedside manner too.When I went in this week she came in and sat and we talked,she listened.I did not feel rushed.As a matter of fact my boss just asked me this week if I could recommend her a Dr from Womans Health Advantage as her Dr. retired from the practice.I did and I know She will be very satisfied and feel like I do.I highly would recommend her.
