This was the worst experience with a Dr. I have ever had. I felt dismissed, Dr. Acuna was argumentative from the beginning, and clearly did not prepare for our appointment. He was not knowledgeable whatsoever about my injury, yet "had all the answers". Despite my experience, I am getting the help I need elsewhere with Doctors who actually listen to their patients and try to help them. Dr. Acuna would do well to learn about empathy and compassion.
I am forever grateful for Dr. Acuna. Back in early June of 2021, my dad found a lump on his neck. He got an appointment with his PCP (Dr. Acuna) within a day of noticing the lump. Dr. Acuna was very proactive, scheduled my dad for radiology immediately, which later was followed up with a biopsy. For the biopsy results, we did a zoom meeting, and I sat next to my father as Dr. Acuna informed us it was in fact cancer.
