Infection introduced during injection in the wrist by an orthopedic doctor. Surely, a small risk of infection is always present, but the issue is how I was treated after I came back for help. As Dr Krell was not present, I asked to see any other provider as my hand was visibly swallen, red (streaking) and I was in a lot of pain. Dr. Krell was very patient and knowledgeable. I had gone to another orthopedist nearby and was very unhappy with my experience. Dr. Krell was great, very happy I found him.
Dr Krell has sooooooo much experience!!! He’s the best!! He completely fixed my shoulder last year by repairing my rotator cuff, labrum, and even moved my bicep tendon to avoid future problem!!! Yesterday he cleaned out my meniscus and today I basically don’t even have any pain! He’s truly ao experienced and full of knowledge! Highly highly recomend!!!!
This review is in gratitude of an incident from July, 18, 1983, when Dr. Krell was a resident. He set my very tricky right Colles fracture. Something he decided to do that was uncomfortable but clever and worked saved me from having hand surgery to close the very unstable fracture. His humor under the circumstances in the ER kept me from panicking. I subsequently was treated by Dr. Joel Grad at Hand Surgery Associates, who was glad to see that Dr. Krell's method worked. I would give more stars if I could. I’m so impressed with the level of care we’ve received from Dr. Krell. My 5 year old broke two fingers and she received fantastic in-office care, but Dr. Krell has also gone above and beyond in following up and ensuring my daughter is recovering well. I reached out to him regarding something that came up, which turned out to be unrelated to the original injury, and he went out of his way to ensure my daughter was receiving proper care and even followed up after-the-fact to see how she was ... read more
