My husband went to him for help with sleeping, mental and physical issues. Doc preceeded to talk down to me about " self diagnosing" his sleep apnea but gave him a referral to a sleep clinic. My husband received the diagnosis, the doc never followed up with him on that just proceeded to prescribe him sleeping pills that could kill him. As in his other issues, he loaded him up with multiple prescriptions that gave him all kinds of side effects and never tried to get him to go to counseling or never advocated for healthy chang... read more

I have to give 1 star in order to write this review. Dr. Hammond cost me years with my father watching his health go downhill. We begged as a family to treat him. He refused to listen to any of us and was very rude in all aspects. We saw a psychiatrist after my dad fell for the 3rd time and he was diagnosed with dementia in 15 minutes. My father had shown all the symptoms of dementia for years, and we had expressed that to absolutely no concern. His refusal to listen and his own arrogance cost my father years.
