I recently changed hospital providers and am hoping for better service with Providence. A case could be made for 3 stars because most of my frustration is with Px refills (diabetic in nature), billing is difficult and the entire process seems to be ran to optimize profit. Dr Gottschalk is one of the best most competent doctors in Spokane. I've been an RN for over 20 years and it is my professional opinion that Dr Gottschalk is fast and effecient but totally thorough too. He checks everything and always makes the decisions that are best for me, taking into account what my wishes are.

Keeps inconsistent contradictory medical notes and doesn't write in a very concerning painful medical condition that's already been diagnosed by 3 doctors. He said that's a strange place for hernia. And then didn't write anything about it and the pain it's radiating down my leg
