There are only a few providers who genuinely care about their patients and their outcomes—especially when the patient is elderly and has been easily brushed off by other doctors. Dr. Shahin is one of those special ones. She truly exemplifies what a healthcare provider should be. Her staff is amazing and kind, and the atmosphere in the office is contagiously joyful from the moment you walk in. :)
Man I wish more practices were like this! First of all Dr. Shahim is extremely knowledgeable, and she spends plenty of time going over her patients' full diagnosis and treatment options. Also the receptionists are courteous and work hard to keep things moving. Never had to wait more than 2 minutes! And last but not least the techs Jason and Guillermo are incredible at explaining the very technical stretching and rehab program needed for plantar fasciitis. Smoothly run practice that far exceeded my expectations.
Disclaimer: Never saw this Dr. in person so I cannot say how good the actual Dr. or Facilities are. Giving three stars because I made an appointment 1 month out and gave them my insurance card info over the phone. They said all was cool and they even reminded me of my appointment a few times. Turns out, they NEGLECTED to run my insurance until the day before my appointment, and of course it was not accepted.
