I had knee replacement done five years ago from Dr Kostamo. My knee did not get better, but even worse. Apparently there was a lot of nerve damage and to this very day it is as if I'm walking on a stump. After the first year, I met up twice, telling him, all he said was give it time. I don't know why, but everyone I talked to who had knee replacements are living a happy productive life. I guess I was unlucky. I am not in pain but I have been suffering, in discomfort ever since. I guess older, less than favorable reviews, get deleted? I wrote a review about going in for Rotator Cuff operation and coming out with a new problem, him cutting off part of my Bicep and Reattaching it to a pin he had drilled into my humerus bone. The worst doctor I have ever seen in my life.
Had both of my hips done by Dr Kostamo Sept 2019 From the first appointment to the last appointment his team has been amazing. Was able to walk out of the hospital sameday on both surgeries. I am back playing ice hockey 2 to 3 times a week,playing golf , running with 100% with no pain. Dr Kostamo was very professional,great beside manners,and the office staff is also amazing. I highly recommend Dr Kostamo. Thank you so much
