When I first met Dr. O’Connor, he was very nice and told me what to expect. I was very happy until the very end of my 7 weeks. 2 days before the end of my radiation treatment it was getting very painful to swallow, and it continued to get worse for the next 2 weeks after radiation treatment, extremely worse! I met kept telling him I was in severe pain and could not swallow without lidocaine. He gave me more pain killers and said, “you will get through this, I’m the doctor and I know best”.
