15 years ago (exactly), Tom Steineke saved our 11 month old daughters life. She had an arachnoid cyst in her brain. Her cerebral fluid was not draining properly. It was a terrifying time as parents, but his calm demeanor put us at ease. Also, Dr Steineke advised against the installation of a shunt, which was what the neurologist was recommending at the time. He’s a wonderful, humble, knowledgeable, overall a good human being and an excellent surgeon. He answered all my questions over several appts.
