I've been working Dr. Patenaude for several months and he helped me through and stabilize my depression, how I felt about myself, and helped me grow as a person. He is a very good at listening, engaged, and always provided feedback that was helpful and on point. He was never judgemental or critical, and he really normalized things for me. I am staying with him to continue to work on self-growth.
Dr. Patenaude was recommended to me for marriage counseling. My husband and i went to see him for a few months of counseling. He was supportive of me, which I needed, however my husband was a challenge to him. I don't think he was strong enough to handle my husband. He told us after a month or so that he could no longer be our marriage counselor/ therapist because he was moving to Boston. I later found out, he never moved. Not sure if it was a lie?
