Dr. Penner was wonderful and totally understood my situation. I appreciated his knowledge and efficiency.
If I could leave -5 stars, I would. I left the office crying. The staff & nurses at valley immediate care were wonderful - however Thomas Penner was the worst doctor I've ever seen in the state of Oregon. After waiting in a freezing exam room for over an hour (not complaining about the wait, I have the utmost understanding for wait times in an urgent care environment) Thomas Penner walked in without introducing himself. The complaints this doctor has received are definitely accurate. My experience with this provider was awful. I plan to file an ethics complaint with the State Medical Licensing Board.
Dr Penner was the worst doctor visit I’ve ever endured. He talked down to me, interrupted me, put words in my mouth, and when I tried to clarify he wouldn’t listen. He lied on my discharge paperwork and used insulting language. I told him multiple times I have never canceled an appointment with my PCP and on the discharge paperwork he said he refused to help because I keep canceling appointments. Seeing Dr. Penner was an absolute waist of two hours. Mind you I saw him for less than 5 because he likes to sit in his office and read while the entire office waits for him. He told me my pain shouldn't be where it was. Treated me like I was a liar from the moment he walked in the door. I'm absolutely disgusted at the treatment this doctor is allowed to dish out. Shame on you Dr Penner.
