He is a very caring Dr who has saved my life from cancer.[ No evidence of disease 3 years later]
Very good bedside manner. He is very knowledgeable and makes sure to answer all my questions.
I have been seeing Dr. Schmitz since March of 2015. I count my blessings daily that it is he and his staff that have treated me. He called me yesterday to tell me about my recent mammogram. How many doctor's call their patients? He does. He is just an all around gentle man. On top of that he is a skilled and knowledgeable physician. You don't see that combination too often. Hands down, Dr. Schmitz is the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and comforting doctor I have seen. His staff were friendly and welcoming, and I felt truly cared for and at ease during my visits after a brief battle with thyroid cancer. What could have been a terrible and scary experience ended up being an absolutely delightful and reassuring few visits. I hope I never HAVE to see him again, but there's no other oncologist I would consider if cancer is my diagnosis!
I have seen Dr. Thomas M. Schmitz for radiation therapy on my scalp following surgery for cancer December 14, 2012. Also left Breast surgery for cancer on August 17, 2016. I found out that I would be returning to see Dr. Schmitz again on September 7,2016 I sure did get a warm welcome back by him and his staff it was like a reunion. I would recommand him to anyone, I do know several people who gone to see him. Even my family is inpressed with Dr. Schmitz and all his staff.
Dr Schmitz is amazing. Very knowledgable and caring for all of his patients. He answered all our questions and made us feel very comfortable.
