Absolutely horrible individual. He tried to put me in a compromising and dangerous procedure given my condition. Avoid this doctor at all costs. He should be stripped of his doctoral certification and be remanded to prison.
Do not recommend. Scheduled unnecessary appointments. Charged $500 to write a letter to my insurance company. Never spent more than 5 minutes with me. Said I had no nerve damage when I have proof of nerve damage though I had previous nerve conduction tests that showed damage. No diagnosis or treatment given after 6 visits.
Does not care. Just a pill doctor
Absolutely terrible experiences. I went twice, neither time did he listen to what I said, he acted like I knew nothing about my condition. Almost as if I didnt do any research and just googled doctor office. He then makes unnesecary follow up visits just to bill your insurance, and when I needed him to fax over my MRI order HE REFUSED and told me I had to come pay him my specialist visit fee for him to do that. Don't get taken advantage of by this disrespectful poor excuse for a doctor.
My experience with Dr Newman was terrible. He wouldn't listen to me and my VA doctors listened more then he did. He gave me medication that I should of not taken due to it no9t being verified by FDA. He also had me come back every 3 months so he could get paid by workmans comp. Would not recommend.
Dr. Newman mis-diagnosed me after viewing my MRI and performing neurological tests on my spine. He was in and out of the office rapidly, not listening to me describe and demonstrate my symptoms. The correct diagnosis was found by my Interventional Radiologist, and surgery was subsequently performed correctly at the Biospine Institute in Tampa. Dr. Newman's mis-diagnosis caused me to be in severe pain for an additional 8-10 weeks.
Doesn't listen. Treated me like I was stupid and neurotic. Only seemed to be concerned with what medications he could prescribe or not prescribe for me.
