THE BEST! He's very nice. This was the best dental experience I've ever had. And I've had a lot! (And we're talking about a root canal!!!) Even has a great view from the chair.
Well, I went to Dr. Zicarelli today after a 5 month issue with a tooth that had started out as just a cavity and turned into an abscessed root canal. Stubbornly, I kept going to my regular dentist when I really should have come to Dr. Zicarelli first. By far the best experience I've ever had with any health professional in NYC in 15 years! Dr. Zicarelli retreated a 4-yr old root canal that turned out to be the source of pain I had for half a year. He is that rare Endodontist who uses an overhead high-powered stereo microscope as he works -- an invaluable asset! His procedure was thorough, effective and I felt at all times like I was in good hands. Dr. Zicarelli is unusually approachable, communicative and empathetic -- a straight shooter who is concerned for the welfare and comfort of his patients. I highly recommend him.
Let's face it, going to the dentist can be disconcerting, but not with Dr Tom Zicarelli and his group. NY Endodontics. I cannot recommend them enough. Their staff is efficient and knowledegable. The office is consistently pristine and has a relaxed atmosphere. The dentists are friendly and instill confidence, whilst fully explaining the procedures beforehand. Dr. Ziccarrelli has done root canal work for myself and members of my family. He is exceptionally caring, attentive, professionally one of the best, uses the latest equipment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone - for example, he came into the office on Saturday when I had a problem. There are not many dentists who would give up their weekends. Dr. Zicarelli is a wonderful endodontist. He has taken me out of my pain a few times, and always with much attention, precision and understandable explanations. I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone in need of an endodontist. My dentist office recommended him and I'm 100% pleased.
