Although I was quite young, I vividly remember Dr. Spahn. He was so knowledgeable, gentle, caring, and kind. I had multiple tubes in both ears, and I had one ruptured tympanic membrane, which he repaired beautifully. I don’t recall being scared or frightened because he was so wonderful with pediatrics. He inspired me to study Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Purdue University.
