Great - was my GYN for years as my husband and I tried to get pregnant. He's a great doctor and we have a beautiful baby boy 5 years later.
Sorry to hear the previous reviewer had a bad experience with the staff because she is correct -- Dr. Stavoy is awesome!! I have two small children, one just turning a year old, and the other is two and a half. Dr. Stavoy delivered both of my kids via c-section the experience was nothing but wonderful!! He has a wonderful, calming bedside manner that puts you at ease and was always willing to answer any questions without judgement. Office staff is rude and inflexible, and obviously does not care. I made an appointment with another OB because I was so dissatisfied with their customer service. I was trying to make my first prenatal visit, but just switched insurance companies... they would not accept a "certificate of coverage" from the insurance company (which the insurance company said should be universally accepted, and was accepted by the OB I switched to with no problem), stating they would only accept the physical insurance card (which I will not r... read more
