Dr. Shook is a wonderful physician! His staff leaves a little to be desired. Husband received a call that his cancer has spread to lymph nodes. Had an existing appt for 11 days in the future. Asked to see the Dr. sooner to answer questions on prognosis. Nurse said, "Its not like your die..." then stopped. Said he couldn't get any worse between the 2nd of July and the 13 of July. When diagnosed with Cancer and not able to ask the doctor questions for almost two weeks leaves the family in a terrible spot! What kind of person/nurse tells a cancer patient horrible news and then nonchalantly tells him it is not like he is going to die? Consultation appointments should be readily available when sharing that kind of news; in addition, a little empathy might be beneficial!

Takes the time to explain and answer questions. Willing to consider input and "negotiate" options. Would definitely recommend. The office environment, on the other hand, is very crowded, not very inviting and feels like an assembly line. Staff is ok but the conditions are not inviting.

Dr. Shook was very courteous, his bed side manners are great. He immediately made me feel comfortable and explained my condition in laymen terms. I would definitely recommend him to family and friends. Looking forward to having him on my medical team. Kudo's Dr. Shook.

Dr. Shook has helped Me through several bouts of kidney stones-both passing and removal of them. As i transitioned feom the first experience through multiple experiences over 10 years, he hecked their changing composition and came up with a successful plan to keep them from coming back’

Very conscientious, great bedside manner, explains things well and answers all questions, very thorough, treated me several times for kidney stones. Also found reason why I was getting them repeatedly, and now that I have correct tx, I don't get them at all! Love his nurse Julie
