Dr. Kroll is an outstanding dr. His attention to detail allowed him to diagnose what every other doctor ignored and shrugged off as poor lifestyle choices for over 20 years. He is genuinely invested in my care and well-being. I highly recommend him.

Met with Dr. Krol as a referral from primary care for assessment of liver. I was rushed rough the office so fast I left my keys and wallet in the exam room and couldn't even finish the paperwork. He told me to "knock ten pounds off and go to UCSD and walked out the door.

Be prepared to have all requests for information ignored and for nobody to listen. The doctor and the office staff both seem arrogant and pay no attention to patient concerns. No one will take responsibility for anything if they drop the ball. Zero communication between assistants, billing, reception and doctor. Horrible experience

Never again will I go see Dr. Krol. I contracted a horrible pseudomonas infection after a procedure with him and I fear it was because his tools weren't clean. It took a long time and a bronchoscopy to get rid of the pseudomonas. Dr. Krol and his office practices really changed in the past two to three years. Much more of an assembly line type atmosphere and the attention was very short. He didn't have time for questions or to explain what he had done because he was in a hurry./

I have been treated by Dr. Krol off and on for 8 years now. Today he diagnosed a problem I’ve had for over a month now. He knew immediately without me having to go into a lot of details. I’m so relieved as I have been suffering up until then. Like others have stated, he is a no nonsense type of Doctor. He’s accurate and able to fix issues which is the ultimate desired result. As for his office staff, they were amazing! They comforted me when I was down about what I’ve experienced so far.

Difficulty making initial appointment. Thomas Krol had a terrible bed side manner and was dismissive when I asked questions. The office misinformed me about making a follow-up appointment for a procedure and argued with me on the phone. Overall experience from beginning to end was one of the worse I've encountered. I opted to switch to another doctor. I would not recommend him at all.

They have no one to answer the phone. You have to leave a message and they will take at leave 24 hours to even get in contact with you. They are closed 3 days a week. Upon calling back and or receiving exam results they will call you right before they close. They would not forclose all my results to me saying I was just fine even though on my discard paperwork said differently?!?!? When requesting my medical records to leave that office a staff member called me a snooty. It was uncalled for.

He's no-nonsense and right to the point. Doesn't sugar coat things at all, and will break down the science behind whatever it is that caused a visit. Some people will not like this, but to me it seems very professional and it's what I look for in healthcare providers.
