Dr. Birch is one of the nicest people I ever met. As a doctor, he has excellent knowledge of his job and his attitude to his patients is unequaled by any I have experienced. I will recommend him to anyone in a blink. His staff members are so good.
Overall excellent experience. Really knows medicine is considered top Infectious Diseases specialist in the area.
Manner: Seemingly inhuman, nasty, dismissive. It was a chilling experience to meet a medical Dr. who, on that day at at least, seemed to display a singular disdain for humanity. I cannot rate his knowledge as he dismissed every question I had as not applicable to my age-group. I saw this Dr. at Leonia Medical in Englewood some years ago. I've never forgotten it. My apologies if this is not the same Thomas Birch who worked there.
If you have any kind of chronic fatigue or EBV, do NOT see this doctor. He advertises that he treats EBV, but that is not the case. He does not believe in any of it and is very ignorant of the subject. He is rude, unsympathetic and does not want to hear whatever it is you have to say.
