I filled out a long complicated application in an effort to get an appointment with Dr. Moorecroft, and was told he would be available for an appointment in a couple of months. Staff tried VERY hard to persuade me to see his wife instead, an MD with very little experience treating lyme. I said no thanks at that time, and when I called back two months later, I was told he was only seeing pediatric patients, but I could see his wife. Please don't be dissuaded by the bad reviews you see. I run the KY Lyme Disease Association & I tell patients to read their Google reviews but this is unfair. These people have never even seen this doctor. Some of our patients are just so sick and then get mad when a doctor has no room for them. Patients can be mean from this disease. Please don't take those type of reviews to heart. Now, these people may, in fact, have deterred someone from seeing him and getting the help they need. I thought I'd balance out the reviews here to better reflect the value this doctor provides. Haven't seen him personally but just watched his Dr Talk and was impressed with his perspective. The bad reviews here appear to be upset inquiring patients for not getting the opportunity to have him as their personal doctor.
