Unfortunately, my grandfather had a horrible experience with Dr Longo. He went to Associated Urologists of NC and his catheter was put in incorrectly and very painful. When my grandparents expressed concern about the state of his penis and asked for help, Dr Longo literally said, “you can cut it off.” Zero compassion and terrible bedside manner. This is the first one star review I have ever left—I couldn’t stand the idea of anyone having the same experience my grandparents have.

My husband had a horrible experience with this doctor. He was not interested in answering his questions. When he called for the first time with a concern about the mri with contrast, he told the assistant to tell him to make another appointment if he had concerns. He wouldn't even talk to him on the phone or have her explain the answer. He won't be going back to him.

Terrible bedside manner. I felt very rushed and he seemed totally disinterested in my thoughts or concerns. After a mildly high PSA, he suggested a prostate biopsy. I went to a Urologist at Duke who totally disagreed. He suggested simply rechecking it in one year.

Absolutely 0 bedside manners. Rushed the visit and was uninterested in my questions. Worse....after one high PSA he recommended a biopsy. I saw another Urologist with Duke and he said no need for a biopsy! He said my PSA was just slightly high and to recheck it in one year.

An excellent doctor in the hospital and in his office. Dr. Longo explains everything very well. He is patient, kind, and listens well to the his patient.
