Dr.Thimmiah Kumar has been my Gastro doctor for many years. He is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. He answers all my questions. His staff is very friendly.
Unreasonable wait time for colonoscopy. Appointment 1:15 pm, not seen until 3:30, procedure at 4 pm. Other patients in waiting room said usual wait 3-4 hours. I've had three prior colonoscopies (elsewhere) and never had this experience. It's dangerous to dehydrate old people, and to keep them waiting an additional two hours when there has been no liquid at all for over seven hours already is inhumane. We treat animals better than this.
Dr. has the personality of a rock. He doesn’t speak to you or with you, but at you. They are horrible about answering the phone and returning calls. They will put you on hold for 10 minutes or more with nothing more than a rushed hold please. The nurse I see is very nice and thorough. She is the reason this place even gets 2 stars.
The staff here is amazing and very professional. I've received excellent care from Dr. Kummar and his team. I always look forward to seeing them.
Nice enough staff, but... This doctor, in my opinion, was entirely dismissive and simple didn't listen. Even gave him a second change. Bad idea. Sorry... Perhaps he is ready to retire?

My daughter was treated by Dr Kumar for Barrett's Esophagus and he treated her excellently and was so patient with her mental challenges which helped her understand the steps necessary to heal her.
I have had 3 proceedures within the last year and each time I had to pay a co-pay to get the results of biopsies. This last time I asked if they would send the result to me and was told NO its not their policy. I was told the only to get my results was to see the doctor. Now apparantely they cannot stop you from accessing your own results of tests or office notes as of April 5th 2021. I found this out after the fact.
