After telling her I had become addicted to the medication she was prescribing me and that I needed help she told me I was addicted to the fast acting medicine and needed a 30 day treatment facility. She told me I would never physically live without it and needed a “long acting” pain med. Now after completing a 12 month rehab, 6 years drug free and clean I wonder, should you question that certain Physicans are practicing here because they can’t anywhere else?? Do yourself a favor and travel!
When I was in high school, I was having trouble with anxiety and depression. Instead of trying me on safer and non addicting meds, this physician tossed me on Ativan and Xanax at a very young age. She did not tell me or my parents at the time that I wouldn't become dependent on it and they were for short term use only. I took them as prescribed every day of my life for years as directed. I am now in the worst withdrawal of my life from these dangerous Benzodiazepines, and have been for a while.
