Dr Cortland is not my first therapist, however is the first I have made big break throughs with. Unlike most therapists that are happy to let you rant and charge you a hefty price for a venting session, she shares her opinions and feedback. Communicates well with suggestions from her own relatable experience and has never made me question if she was mentally present during our sessions. She is kind, warm and stern. I spent almost a year with her while in LaQuinta . . My anxiety and depression was elevated. She was wonderful. She listened and though does not prescribe I was w another doctor (psychiatist) who could. I miss her terribly since we moved but can call her anytime. I DO HAVE A STRONG FAITH AND great doctors 🙏 here. IT WILL BE GREAT!
I don't recommend this office whatsoever. I hired Teri Cortland for a Substance Abuse Program evaluation to return to duty, I paid a pricey consultation for only 2 meetings and after completing everything she had asked me to do. She never did her part to update and notify my employer of finished evaluation. On top of that she was asking more money to re do what she never completed. Total scam, selfish lady, her secretary is good but not her boss!!!!
