Dr Dansforth is great and very compassionate. Today she did my Spc tube at Buffalo general I was very anxious and nervous and she reassured me everything was going to be ok and she held my hand as they were putting me under which I greatly appreciated. I have a follow up in 6 weeks.
Dr. Danforth may be a competent surgeon, however she refused to prescribe me pain medication after a procedure. I had this procedure before with another surgeon and pain meds were given because of the pain associated with kidney stone removal and stents. I have never experienced such pain in my life. I was bed ridden without sleep for days, did not hear back from the Dr. for two days and then was told to take tylenol. . Dr. danforth said she doesn’ t prescribe pain meds for this procedure. I am delighted to find Dr Danforth.. She is not only a trained urologist but also has the gift of really explaining a persons condition…. And has an answer that makes absolute sense!!!! I am so very Grateful to have found her!!!!

Dr. Danforth is a caring and compassionate physician who establishes a sincere rapport with her patient. She takes the time to answer questions and explain what you need to understand your medical situation. She also takes the time to get to know you, understanding the importance of trust in the doctor patient relationship. I felt comfortable with Dr. Danforth when she first saw me at Buffalo General, and I continue to feel fortunate to have her as my doctor for follow up appointments.
