Refused to see me in person because she has patients that "really need it". Not sure how she can clear me for skin concerns without ever meeting me. Rushed my call and was condescending to me and called my GP "undertrained" for referring me to a dermatologist. I recommend finding a doctor that cares.
My insurance does not cover skin tags. Shame on me for not checking what this appointment would cost. I was in the room for 8 minutes with Dr. G. who removed one small skin tag which she charged me $400. $400?
Rushed, didn’t review patient notes before
She was competent but not that friendly. I asked for a body check which she did but told me that the next time I was concerned about my skin to go to my primary care doctor. Because of that I’ve decided to go to a private dermatologist for full body checks and for removal of moles and tags. I have all my other medical needs taken care of at Palo Alto Medical Foundation in Fremont and I am totally pleased with all my other doctors. Doesn't spend the time to understand the patient's condition. Won't spend 5 minutes examining the actual problem area but will spend a majority of the appointment gladly explaining her educational qualifications. Told me my acne would clear up even though I have a documented family history of it well into adulthood. Would not recommend.
She was very friendly, knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. The ointments she suggested cured my issue within days.
