Dr. Blaty has, apart from the obvious experience and intellect, what to me is the most important trait a physician (or anyone working in medicine or healthcare) can have; she genuinely cares about the well-being of her patients. She took the time to make sure I understood everything she was discussing with me, and did so without the slightest hint of condescension.
