Dr. z has taken care of my family for years, she and her staff have been wonderful and I am happy with their care. On the uncommon chance she doesn’t know something off the top of her head she has no faults about looking into it and getting back to you. I appreciate that transparency. I’ve been going to her for nearly 10 years and have no plans to change that.
When LPN Joan put a blood pressure cuff on me I told her it was too high, she sarcastically asked me “..and what do you do for a living?” My background is emergency medicine. When asking questions for my exam she asked if my speech pattern is too fast for others to understand, she said “like a tweaker”, I gasped at the audacity. She said “what?” And I said “I don’t think it’s funny to make fun of addicts” and she goes “maybe you are one”. At that point I demanded another nurse and for her to leave. I received a flu vaccine injection in my right shoulder at her office on 11/15/2023. Between that time and now, I began to feel excruciating sharp pain in that shoulder traveling down through my arm and through my wrist which continues currently. Looking at the placement of the vaccination injection which seemed to be higher up and more toward the front of the shoulder compared with other vaccinations I had received in the past, I wondered if it had anything to do with the pain I was / am experiencing. Dr. Zuniga treated my elderly father for 2 years in the most appalling & negligent manner. He ended up in the hospital with systemic issues that the hospital doctors said should have been caught years ago. She ignored family concerns about his weight, strength, cough etc. I don’t know how she sleeps at night.
