It was only when I started going to a great doctor that I realized how poor the service is here. Look for better options.
I've been going to Dr. Chung for years now. He is a fantastic doctor and definitely knows his field. He truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend him to anyone dealing with arthritis.
Straight up, no nonsense Rheumatologist! He takes solid medical history from you, orders appropriate tests & hopefully give you the correct Rheumatologic diagnosis so that appropriate treatment is started. If you are seeking narcotics for your pain, please do not see him; go seek a pain specialist instead.
My first visit. I appreciated his timeliness and thorough questions. He listened, too. I don't understand people complaining about tests. When you have any undiagnosed autoimmune disease, it is very difficult for doctors to determine which one it is. I appreciate the blood work, and he x-rayed the two places I am having the most pain. As far as a bedside manner, I don't need my specialist to be my friend. I need him to be an expert. Been a patient of Dr Chung's for years. He is good, efficient and contray to other posts caring. I would not still be a patient if he was as other describe. I have recomened him to family and friends.
