I found Dr Cole when looking for a hematologist to investigate a potential condition prior to beginning a biological medication. She took time to listen to my situation and concerns then very quickly developed a plan. She is certainly a brilliant physician and I truly appreciate her exceptional level of care
Dr. Cole recommended a bone marrow biopsy on 3/6/23. She had a peer-to-peer with my Rheumatologist on 3/9/23, and recommended the procedure during it. From 3/6/23 to 3/15/23, Dr. Cole did not order the procedure so I asked why. On 3/16/23, she responded that UTSW is unable to accommodate my disability. On 3/28/23. the PA who performs the test at the Campus University Hospital explained how a patient can be accommodated for a bone marrow biopsy. Dr. Cole has been my oncologist for almost 2 years, and she is without a doubt the best doctor I've ever seen. She explores all areas of treatment for what is best for the patient. She is very caring and empathetic. She wants what's best for patients and will recommend and refer patients to where they can get the best possible care.
I am not a patient of Dr Cole's, although I saw her on a great documentary about cancer.....on Australian television. She does sound mindful and truly empathetic and caring to her patients. I commend her great work....
We have gone round and round with many doctors (primary care and ER) trying to figure out what is wrong with my mother. Dr. Cole is the first medical professional who was able to identify the root cause of my mom's health issues. She was so caring and patient and very intuitive. After so many negative experiences with physicians, we seem to start out skeptical now, but Dr. Cole blew us both away. We are very thankful for her!
