Very disappointed, ordered expensive work without cause and was sure to charge for the office visit without addressing my concerns.
She was the best in my opinion. She has retired recently so I have to pick a new Dr. I know no one will be nearly as awesome as she was. They will have large shoes to fill and I will have to remind myself not to compare.😉

When I had my son, we heard her and the staff state "I'm only getting $37.00 for this." She and they treated me horribly. The nurse providing anesthesia complained that they got her from her lunch break and she was not only pissed, but took it out on me. Not only was she and Dr. Bennet rough with me, they both shared a lack of empathy for the pain that I was going through just in labor .Very unprofessional. I would never ever recommend her to anyone. She had missed some very serious medical conditions.
Reading the reviews here I was shocked to see so many say that she's "just straightforward." Dr. Bennett is not straightforward; she is rude, snotty, sarcastic and unprofessional. I understand that some people think doctors who are rude are just "telling it like it is" but I never got that from Dr. Bennett. Instead, she just seemed resentful and even angry that she had to work, like patients were a big pain in the butt for her. During the past summer I went to the hospital for stomach pains. Later when I was admitted to the hospital, I was placed in their birthing center so that I would be seeing an OBGYN, Dr. Bennett. It was clear that assumptions were made based off of my age, 20 years old. She asked what birth control I was on, I explained that I was not on birth control, her reply was "so, you're okay if you have a baby now?" She went on to say I probably have an STD. With my first child she went on vacation over my sue date so i was a week late when she got back a despite them telling me i shouldnt go long because i had gestational diabetes she then refused to induce me because it was near of the day and she had the next day off! Dr. Bennett is a highly capable and intelligent MD. I had a medical condition that caused me concern, and she spent absolutely as much time as I needed to answer my questions. She is very direct, which might make some uncomfortable, but for me, her matter of fact, unselfconscious delivery is very helpful and makes me comfortable. I trust her.
