Best of the best. I saw Dr. Burge for about 3 years after my daughter turned 2, and I realized I needed more regular medical attention and bloodwork for iron deficiency. She found I had a thyroid issue, discovered a thyroid nodule I now keep tabs on, and was the epitome of what a ‘great doctor’ is. Sue is warm and kind, straightforward, and makes sure every issue you voice (or don’t think to voice) is addressed. My daughter was in the ER for self harm, it was pretty deep, and Dr McCain completely disregarded her feelings and sent her to Lincoln Prairie. They did not even take my opinion into consideration. He said she was 'manipulating' me, which shows he CLEARLY does not know what manipulation even means. She was showing emotions and crying. She did not want to go. She is a very caring person. Is concerned for her patients well being and answers all of your concerns. I will follow her wherever she goes. She gets a 100% in my book!
Called and spoke to reception and they said he no longer works there
Dr. Burge is kind and caring she answers all your questions. when needed she will give you a call at home. She helped my husband for years and during his declining health she always tried to do whatever she could to address his symptoms and make him more comfortable. She is a very knowledgeable physician with a kind heart.
Dr. Burge was very caring and thorough with my 89 year old mother. Her nurse, however, has been rather abrupt and uncooperative. Been trying to resolve an issue for almost 2 weeks and still made no progress.
Dr. Mccain is fantastic. He took the time to listen to my concerns. He called me on the phone 3 days after the endoscopy to talk about my results. This is the first time in my life that a doctor calls me personally to talk about my health. I highly recommend Dr. Maccain.
