I feel compelled to write this as I truly feel Dr Valmadre has saved my life. The first time I met her in her rooms, she sat and watched me cry as I explained I had nursed and lost my beloved mum to Ovarian Cancer and lived in fear about how my own life would pan out. I had been given so many different medical opinions, many of which said you only have a family history if it’s more than one family member. Very dissapointed with one of the receptionists, feeling the same as the other reviewer has mentioned. I had called them and said that I have had some rough days after my appointment reflecting on my life with the disease I have got. I was vulnerable and humble and mentioned that my mental health had not been that well due to this and said to her that I finally found some hope and help about my disease on a facebook support group as my condition is rare. Very rude receptionist or whoever answered my call. So unprofessional and shouldn’t be at the front end. Patients have gone through enough and you just made it even worst.
I could not have asked for a better surgeon. Dr Sue Valmadre was the third OBGYN surgeon I had seen over the last 2 years. From my first consultation to post lap hysterectomy Dr Valmadre made me feel at ease with her calm demeanour and surgical expertise. I am 3 weeks post op and having a great recovery. Thank you Dr Sue and your expert surgical and admin team for your 5* care all round.
Dr Valmadre is hands down the best OBG around. Her knowledge, skill and professionalism is outstanding. I cannot speak highly enough of our experience here. She is probably the most hard working OBG in Australia!! Absolutely brilliant doctor, and her team are lovely and vibrant. Always a pleasure to attend her rooms.
