I came to Dr Lloyd-Merrick after a violent event that unleashed a torrent of pre-existing trauma. I was not coping after a year and had sessions with 2 other therapist who were not the right fit. I came into my first session and what I felt I needed and wanted from my sessions. I saw this woman a while ago, while I was searching for a therapist. I hadnt talked to her for more than 25 minutes before she started just... throwing out assumptions about me. I mentioned I was a thespian, and an avid fan of theatre, and she told me drama students tend to be more sensitive, and then, without knowing more than the fact I am really into musical theatre, called me a "HSP.
