Dr. Turkington is inattentive and gives the distinct impression that she’s too busy to listen or take interest. Office visits show a lack of thoroughness and care. No follow-through. I do not recommend this physician.
Went to Dr. Turkington specifically for HRT. Her opinion on HRT is not favorable so she won’t prescribe. I specifically let the office know that I was there for that reason when I made the appointment.
I have been with Dr. Turkington as my PC physician for over 2 years now, and I’m looking for a new provider. She doesn’t respond promptly or helpfully and often refuses to provide help or referrals without a separate office appointment. She is not thorough in my annual physical and seems irritated by questions. She is impatient and too rushed to listen. The search is in for a more attentive and compassionate physician.
Dr Turkington is the best. I wouldn't even think of seeing anyone else. I have had a few serious health scares and she always referred me to the right person to handle the problem. I have full confidence in her and her staff!
I have been with her for many years now and would never think of switching doctors. I had extremely high blood pressure and she quickly remedied the problem despite a tough time of my body rejecting some medications. My wife had an issue with allergies and referred her to an outstanding allergist. Her experience speaks for itself; she is truly great at her practice.
