Dr. Fitzgerald has treated my wife and I for years and we have never found such a caring and thorough doctor. She has always taken the appropriate time during visits and she refers to the appropriate specialists as needed. Hope she practices forever!
She is the absolute worst and her license should be pulled. Condescending and does not listen. Not clinically capable. I would never recommend her to anyone.
I never have to wait too long for my appointment, yet Dr. Fitzgerald always spends all the time I need on me. I really feel like she listens to me and never rushes. She is kind and doesn't make me feel embarrassed to talk about anything that is bothering me.
I find it very hard to believe that this doctor has gotten so many good reviews. It would be hard to find a less caring or more worthless person than the man who is her receptionist. Her nurse was very good, but Dr. Fitzgerald herself, is strictly a "my way or the highway" kind of doctor, which is a particularly indefensible position since she has misdiagnosed me on more than one occasion. Also, forget about ever getting a straight answer on any of her fees.I could go on but I am out of room.
My family and I have been patients of Dr. Fitzgerald for more than a decade and I would highly recommend her to anyone who wants an exceptional doctor, who is willing to spend the time to know her patients and work with them to resolve health issues and build a healthy lifestyle plan. She is especially knowledgeable in women's issues and during a recent pancreatic attack, she managed all of my testing to avoid a hospital stay and was able to get me care at the Pancreatic Center at John Hopkins.
I recently moved back from abroad and needed an annual physical in the local area. I chose Dr. Fitzgerald after researching reviews, credentials and specialty. She is very attentive, asked many background questions, provided a thorough examination, gave me sound advice and answered all my questions and concerns. Her staff and their facility was very nice and accommodating. I was in and out, just under an hour. I look forward to our followup to get the lab results and my next visit when needed.
I have been seeing Dr Fitzgerald for years. She has been nothing but good to me over all this time. She helped me find the reason for some health issues I was dealing with and helped me find the path to getting well. Vague, I know, but she is absolutely wonderful.
This lady said I could go back to work when I was diagnosed with a possibly contagious disease. She misdiagnosed me, causing me to go to the wrong specialists and went through various run-arounds that cost me countless time and money, while the real medical issue is still festering in my body. Seems like the only person who does anything useful in her office is her nurse.
Dr. Susan K. Fitzgerald, MD has a 3.9 star rating with 34 reviews.
