Dr. Delap was my sister's infectious disease dr for the last few years. Unfortunately, my sister passed away on May 9th. I honestly wasn't too suspicious of her until I got my sister's med recs. We were not told a lot of things as it pertains to her health. My sister was in no position to communicate anything to us. In fact, the hospital would call myself or my mom to give consent. While in the hospital- she makes rounds betw 0230-0330 in the morning. After waking you up, she is then, very rude. She will tell you one thing, then change it. We were told 'that's not my job" like 4x...... No bed side manners at all. Once she wakes you up, you cant go back to bed bc Your so pissed at her attitude

My husband went to her about 15 years ago because he had leptospirosis from pigs and developed meningitis. She said he did not have chronic lepto., it was like the flu you had it and it was gone. He has had both hips , both knees, elbows, back and two surgeries on his kneck. He needs his shoulder replaced but muscle is too weak. Dr. say his joints are awful. Leptospirosis effects the joints in animals and i think she should be open to more research.
