Doc doesn’t know how to prescribe medicine your insurance covers. I have seen him twice in 3 months. Both times we looked at my insurance and what insulin my insurance covers. First he prescribes humalog flex pens and says if your insurance doesn’t cover it the pharmacy will give you a generic kind. I made the choice of choosing him for my PCP due to good reviews. Bad decision. I sat 1 hour & 40 minutes b/c he was behind! That's not running behind, its ignorance & lack of respect for patients. They bill your insurance company when you get there SO basically they get your money whether your satisfied or not. When I finally did see him he spent more time investigating my health history on the computer than he did to rectify my problem. I made an appointment to see Dr. Mundra. He greeted me by name and asked about my daughter. With all the patients he sees, he asked detailed questions about my daughter. This means a lot to me because it shows he listens to what I say. Be it personal or about my medical issues, he listens. He spent whatever time that was necessary to accurately assess my concerns and the steps needed to ease my angst. I appreciate him as a doctor and more as a person.
