Mr Surgit Lidder, what can i say? A true gentleman and a wonderful, caring surgeon. Who cares for his patients and their needs in great detail. My operation went according to plan at the Insight Private Hospital in Albury. Mr Lidder's skills in Orthopaedic surgery have allowed me to walk with less pain. He addressed a problem (a Gluteal Tendon Repair) in my hip that I didn't know was there, he repaired this and he also removed a troublesome hip bursa that had caused me sleepless nights for approx 5 years. Dr Lidder inspired confidence from the outset. My left total hip replacement surgery went very well. I was up walking using a walking frame the next day. Each day saw improvements and on day 3 it was a move to rehabilitation ward where I received nursing care, Occupational Therapy and Physiotherapy. 10 days of rehab saw huge improvements. It's 18 days post surgery and I'm using a walking stick. Fantastic! I've now booked my right hip replacement in 3 months time. Fantastic surgeon.
Mr Lidder is a very caring and committed surgeon. I had a THR left side posterior approach and repair of gluteal tendon 20 weeks ago. I am very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. Mr Lidder has given me very detailed information at all stages of our interactions. He has shown me photos of my hip joint and the tendon repair which have helped enormously with my understanding of the surgery. I would recommend Mr Lidder to anyone requiring similar surgical intervention.
Dr Lidder performed a hip replacement operation on my 82 year old father in January. We couldn't have hoped for a better surgeon or outcome. My father is making an excellent recovery with no post operative complications. Dr Lidder is extremely approachable and down to earth who gives easily understandable answers and explanations to any questions that you may have.
