I have had Dr. Matthew on and off once having a transplant before. He is amazing. Always listens to my concerns, comes and sees me in the hospital when I’m there, not afraid to challenge other doctors regarding his patients care. The biggest thing I love about him is that he LISTENS. He is willing to let you have a say so in your care

I can't tell you the level of fear that makes one's heart stop when a MD you consulted for an endocrine problem calls you and says: "Did you know you are in stage 3 chronic renal disease?" I went through2 weeks of severe trauma until I could get in to see Dr. S. Mathew, Nephrologist. He ordered definitive diagnostics and one week later called me in to give me the "all clear". Dr. Mathew is an amazing physician. He is incredibly kind and his intelligence is almost intimidating. He's been taking care of my mother for a few months, and he's always shown so much compassion and concern to not just her, but my entire family. He updated us constantly at the hospital after she started dialysis and had a triple bypass. He explained everything to us many times until we understood how she was doing.
