This is a horrible eye doc. It took him 3 years to diagnose my plaquenil toxicity .. when I asked questions when I had an episode of loss vision he got mad .. I would not recommend. He’s horrible . He lacks patience In explaining to his patients what the issue may be .

I find Dr Shan an excellant Doctor and very caring and very knowledgeable. He made me feel very confident that should my eyes get worst to call him and he would do surgery. I would recommend him for any eye problem.

Dr. Shan did cataract surgery on both of my eyes, and I was very happy with the results, as well as very much appreciating his attention to detail, outlining everything, and his professional, caring support. His re epitomized its, Sherry, and the optician were great to deal with, too.

Do not go to this surgeon if you value your eyes. This surgeon destroyed my eyes and I had requested another surgeon for my surgery in which staff denied me. Does not care about people, aggravated to answer questions, states he discusses risks with patients when he never had said anything to me about risks. Partially blind in my right eye and left eye in a year and half went back down so I can’t see out of that one either
