Worst doctor that I have ever met. My grandmother was referred to him to have a swcond hip replacement surgery due to the fact that the first surgery was a botched surgery. She later ended up with two types of infections that had ended up turning into staph.
Dr. Sullivan and his staff are unprofessional and inconsiderate. I waited 2 hours after my scheduled appointment before I was even seen. An hour in the lobby then another hour in a room once I was finally called back. Mind you I watched 2 others who came after me be called back. Instead of one of the nurses popping their head in the door to tell me he will be with me as soon as he can, they sat at their desk giggling out loud about going to the VFW and who's wearing what for a Halloween costume. Dr. Sullivan in his staff, Katie and others have been so helpful during my revision hip surgery. Dr. Sullivan is one of the best doctors I’ve ever had in orthopedics and I’ve had 5 replacement surgeries… He did my revision hip and he’s a no nonsense Doctor Who gets it done he knows what he’s doing!! His nurse fit me in within two days because I was in so much pain otherwise I would’ve had to wait a week. They really care and I feel so taken care of.. thank you dr. Terrible service, bedside manners and cleaning processes were not followed. After my procedure I developed staph infection and stress fracture. Went to another doctor for care to resolve issues. Never will go back or reccomend.
My story is a long one on how I came to have Dr Sullivan for my orthopedic doctor. I heard nothing but good things about him, that when it came to me having surgery for the second time, he was suggested by my first orthopedic doctor, here in Peoria.. Dr Sullivan did a Hip Revision.
