Dr. Kona is amazing and patient. Unfortunately, she now only works with elderly patients. I found the nurse practitioner in her office to have very little patience for myself. Having debilitating chronic illnesses, I was often subjected to her lack of patience. I miss doctor Kona!
I am a Mayo Clinic patient and see Dr. Kona locally. I have experienced the absolute best care available at Mayo and Dr. Kona is right there with them. Takes the necessary time. Never in a rush. Prior to Mayo I never knew what great care was all about and had seen several other doctors that were at best, sub-par in my experience. WOW! I was checking on my upcoming appointment with Dr. Kona and saw some bad reviews. I am startled as I have been seeing Dr. Kona since I have been on Medicare. She even attended the Medicare seminar that I did. When I had an ongoing issue she started communicating with me by texts. Ongoing and more than I would have ever expected from any Dr. My wellness check is Monday and as far as I am concerned I get the Dr’s full attention and know that much of what she does is guided by Medicare. Oh my! They really need to send Ariel to a class on how to listen and speak to patients...WOW!!! She even hung up on me!! ARE YOU KIDDING????
I wouldn't take my dog to this Doctors office. They don't see anyone that has a cold or cough. They don't listen when you request aa appointment. And the staff is rude. I have a few other complaints about this Dr.
Dr Kona is great, always takes the time to listen and is very thorough
She is available 24/7 at phone # given to all patients. Tells us to call with any issues or questions Testing and orders appropriate. Also works with info from my VA doctor
She is the best. Very knowledgeable and listens to what i have to say. She has helped me out tremendously. She is highly recommended if you want the best. The office csn be contacted 24/7 for emergencies. The RN and staff are fantastic and very helpful.
Dismissive, rude, interrupts, does not listen, does not do a thorough exam, does not provide a referral, refuses to treat serious conditions, repeatedly attempts to prescribe inappropriate medications. Do not waste your time with this quack!
