I would rather die of a heart attack than see that doctor again. The male nurse that did my ecg prior to my appointment goes in the same basket, too (he's certainly never heard of trauma informed care). I've never felt less like a human, and as belittled and judged as I felt in that appointment, to the point where I clamed up and couldn't even answer his rapid-fire questions. I was a patient of Dr Carlson. I found him very obnoxious and short and not interested in my well being at all. He knew I had AF but would not listen to the fact that I now had angina and that I had been admitted to hospital on multiple occasions and was told I had angina. His response was simply rolling his eyes and shaking his head whilst I was trying to explaining my symptoms. I practically pleaded for an angiogram. Dr Carlson is at the top of his professional 'game'. He is an energetic focussed and highly articulate communicator...making complex life threatening issues clear managble and less concerning for any patient fortunate enough to benefit from his excellant approach and clinical solutions. 👍
